History of the National meetings on Evolutionary Biology in Portugal

In September 2005 a web forum was launched to stimulate the contact between Portuguese researchers working in Evolutionary Biology, based in Portugal or abroad. We hope to improve our knowledge on the research undertaken by our colleagues and to create a place for debate on Evolution and on the present and future of research in this area in Portugal. Communication between scientists is a fundamental component of open, vibrant and vigorous science. This is a small contribute towards that end.
